Cushions

The project was to develop cushions using different surface techniques. My inspiration was beaches and sea creatures. I have used Quilting, Space tucks, Pin tucks, etc.. in my collection. I have used corded piping, french seam techniques for finishes.

This cushion was made taking direct inspiration from starfish. Both sides of the cushion are of different colors similar to how starfish has.

The quilting technique is used to give the soft and raised effect.

polyfel was used to fill inside the cushion giving it a soft toy feel.

This Cushion represents the waves in the sea. I got that effect by doing space tucks at certain distances.

Corded piping and french seam is used for finishes.
